Had to Eat My Words After All

I saw something odd the other day. I went over to my aunt’s house and there hanging on her porch was a tomato vine. There wasn’t any tomatoes on it, and I would be surprised if they would ever grow on it. How can a plant grow vertical? She explained that her vertical garden was a new, space saving way to have a garden. You plant the seeds in a pocket that can hang off of buildings or fences. She told me to come back in a few weeks and see the big tomatoes growing from it. I was skeptical about it working, but I told her i’d come back. Too my big surprise, those tomatoes were gigantic! I couldn’t believe that they were growing there hanging from the porch. She pulled a couple off the vine and fried them up for us. I guess I had to eat my words that day.
